Composa beta

Third-party notices

Composa does not draw its own letters. Everything it prints is set in typefaces other people designed and licensed for anyone to use, and this is the list of them — 47 families a document can be set in and 6 this website is set in, each with the copyright notice the font files themselves carry and the licence it is given under. The full text of every one of those licences travels with the software, beside the fonts.

01The faces a document is set in

Shipped with Composa and loaded by the printer and the editor alike, so a page looks the same wherever it is made. A few are never offered in the font picker: they are what a family falls back to for a writing system it does not draw.

The chrome around the work — this page included. Served from Composa, never from someone else’s CDN.
